Didn’t think you got Ford Transit outside Europe, the transit connect is the most common vehicle to be found parked outside bars after work with painters and plumbers inside haveing a skinfull

    MADE IN ROMANIA:)

A good idea but the 22 city 25 highway is not that great for mileage. Sure its better than a mini or full size van to bad they did not offer the diesel here in the U.S.

i think it depends on where you live.. i deliver auto parts around detroit and i’ve seen 3 just today, somedays more.. they really stand out.. i wish they used these where i work, but they’re stuck on HHR’s.. i’m always putting stuff in the front seat. i think GM decided the panel truck theme was a good idea for the HHR while just LOOKING at it, because it really lacks useable cargo space.. with the transit connect, you can drop a whole pallet in the back of it, with 5 passengers..

It is made in Turkey by Otosan.

  • don;t like looks funky just my opition

  • macbookpro57 says:

oh this is a work truck, nvm then i take what i said back lol, i thought it was like a consumer vehicle

Interesting seeing the US version. Prefer the Diesel 5 spd manual myself. Thanks for the review.

    @Intechdude300. nice

I don’t get why Ford chose to use such fuel-using gearbox it doesn’t really make sense when they advertise it as fuel efficient which i think is the exact opposite of what it is it gets 1mpg more than a crown victoria that just cannot be right when theres such a big difference in engine size horsepower and aerodynamics. Look at the Transit Connect in Europe with a 5-speed manual and a diesel now thats fuel efficient

  • @claire1667

Yes they are. Like said, I see 3-5 on the road weekly. Most of them in in White. But i’ve seen them in Silver, dark blue and black. But I haven’t seen a red one yet. That color isn’t very common for the Connect.

  • claire1667 says:

@Intechdude300. They are really becoming common?

  • marshall0792 says:

you mind looking at a Superduty and some chevy trucks

  • Villxe says:

These cars with the regular “work package” are pretty common in the citys here. Not these with the back seats.

For those who don’t know these are good looking compared to the other minivans in the same size. But they are probably not sold in the US. Renault Kangoo, Opel Combo, Peugeot Partner are similar minivans.

  • Does anybody know what kind of engines this thing comes with? It sounded like a 4 banger, in something that big and heavy I’ll bet it’s a dog to get up to speed!

I dislike the styling also but that’s just my opinion. It may well be a success.

  • just when i thought the chimes couldnt get worse hahaha

  • if its loosley based of the ford focus then i could possibly consider this a ford focus minivan. lol

  • pjtart says:

It has a interesting chime, this vehicle isn’t bad. This vehicle is only good for some small business.

  • infinity3jif says:

i never knew this thing existed

  • @macbookpro57

Maybe so, but better looking than a Chevy Express, GMC Savana, & Ford E-Series. This is the first year and Ford wants to see how strong demand will be. It will be strong & Ford will begin updated it soon.

  • @claire1667

Here in Central FL, they are becoming quite common. I see at least 3-5 a week. And I don’t mean the ones I pass that are parked in Ford Dealerships. The only thing that bugs me about the transit connect is that you have to use the key in order to open the hood.

  • macbookpro57 says:

if i had to give my personal opinion, i actually dont like it very much, it is a little to plain looking

  • chevymonte1 says:

thats a cool little van, i think they will hit big on that for the gas mileage looks, ease of use, and it being basic. I like it. Could you do a f450 or even f550?
