It took 10 ‘tries’, and 2 hours – to execute this man in Ohio??? Humane???

If this had been a being – to put Barbaro (racehorse) down – a cheer would have been shrill as well as long, from amiability . . .!!! When will the ‘civilized’ enlightenment STOP this authorised murdering???
We are second in the world behind China in putting people to death. The United Nations has called capital punishment in the U.S. a crime against humanity. Capital punishment does not deter heinous crimes. Taking the life of another, regardless of what they have done in their life time, is immoral. End capital punishment!
He was there for a reason. I wonder how his victims suffered?

It took 10 tries to find a vein. Not 10 doses of chemical. Im sorry but 10 needle pricks is not torture. Especially when he was a longtime needle user -"…because the team could not find a suitable vein. He was a longtime intravenous drug user." What do you think happens when people like that go to the hospital? They get poked a lot too because they are the ones who ruined their veins.
If youre going to argue against lethal injections find a better example.
Unfortunately, there are times when violence and death are the only means to deal with problems. This man murdered, and I’m sure he didn’t care about how humane he was when he killed. The Bible even says "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth". If you murder someone, then you can be killed also. I wonder if you even care how the family of his victims feels. You are so hot on being humane to a murder, does that mean that you don’t are about the victims? Are you saying that when we catch Bin Laden that we should smack his wrist, speak sternly to him and then turn him free? Then those 3000 people who died horribly on 09/11 don’t matter to you? That is certain a true Christian way. Of course, most Christians are hypocrites anyway.
After reading the article it sounds like the guy was not being tortured and was laughing about the ordeal the whole time. he was willing to die for his crimes.
On the other hand leaving a man for the rest of his life to rot in a tiny cell sounds like torture to me.
Do you think it was humane, when he killed someone?? Maybe we here in Ohio, should ask for "old sparky" to be put back into operation. What would you "bleeding hearts" think about that? I have had more torture in the hospital lab, with them drawing my blood for blood work. I don’t feel sorry for a murdered.

He was not a victim. He was the criminal. His veins were shot from years of IV drug abuse. He was executed because he committed a crime. We call this FREE WILL
more humane, than what he did to his victims, it always gives me great satisfaction, when one of those creeps gets some of his own medicine.

The problem have been brought up before. It’s hard to find doctors to do it. After all doctors take oath to save people and not kill them. They’ve had problems finding well qualified people to do it for some time. All they really need is better training.
