Rick Sanchez Rips Ralph Peters Over Bowe Bergdahl Rant

CNN’s Rick Sanchez calls Fox News troops pundit Ralph Peters’ thoughts which a Taliban should kill prisoner American infantryman Bowe Bergdahl, if he forlorn his base, forward as well as irresponsible. “As distant as you can tell, may be he hasn’t been in combat,” Sanchez says of Peters. Sanchez additionally says he longed for Peters to come upon his show, though he was unavailable.
Any American service member who views the Bergdahl interview and isn’t repulsed by his lack of honor should stop accepting pay immediately! Lt Col Peters was 100% correct in his assessment of the situation. People need to stop looking at military service only as a way to pay for college. They also need to stop being surprised when they are required to hold up their end of the deal. This war didn’t start after Bergdahl joined, if he didn’t know what he was getting into, who’s fault is that?
Ralph Peters has to be the biggest piece of shit in this country.

Besides, if you pay attention to Peters, he’s saying IF he deserted his troops, and I still agree with him. If he just threw his hands up and said to hell with this war and walked off, then he chose his fate with the taliban.

im not arguing, just pointing out the facts. UJMJ is the sole bureaucracy that decides what happens to him(legally). You are forming an opinion falsely and based on emotion. Bergdahl has not been recovered yet, so you are not allowed to form an opinion outside of logic. when he gets back, a military tribunal/commission is formed, investigation happens, then you are allowed to form an opinion.
I would not want to be in that mans shoes when he meets his maker. Fox should never put him on again. Did Fox say anything about disagreeing with what Ralph Peters? If not, shame on them as well

You,an insignificant civilian, have no say so/opinion in the matter, the facts have precedence. and the facts are he does not deserve death according to the UJMJ.

5. Ummm… I’m pretty sure the PFC knows the specifics of how he was “taken”. He was there, after all. That whole comment made no sense. It’s not politics to accuse a soldier of not following the Code of Conduct. He did it plainly.
Every viewer comment that Sanchez showed appeared to be written by an imbecile.
1. For a “victim”, he appears pretty damn co-operative.
2. He may very well be a deserter. It certainly appears that he wandered off his FOB by himself. Not bright. And even if he is “just trying to survive” he is still bound by the Code of Conduct in how he behaves and what he can do.

Peters crossed the line and sounded like a damn fool.
But this kid has violated damn near every rule in the code of conduct and was pathetically playing along with his captors propaganda attempt and he made a mockery of his training and the service. In the full interview Peters accuses him of outright collaboration. Unlike his earlier comments, this one isn’t much of an exaggeration.
Regardless, even men as reckless and stupid as PFC Bowe are deserving of rescue when in enemy hands.

I don’t understand why everyone is ragging on Peters. He’s saying IF the kid deserted his troops, then he deserves whatever happens to him.
We need to keep in mind that he took a vow when he joined the military and if he renegged on his vows, then he’s considered a disgrace.
It would be easy for any soldier to walk away, but they’re staying and dealing with this war. So why show pity toward someone who’s not holding up their end of the bargain?
