I have PERSONALLY done production work on albums and not cleared samples, because the production runs were small (1000-2000 units) and the samples were obscure. You are missing my point that sampling, whether credited or not, is NOT theft – it’s more akin to photography. As an artist, the producer takes small snapshots out of a huge array of music to present to the audience. Anyways, don’t try to school me, you’re in too far over your head. Idiot.
